Bruce 81, a Tampa native, passed away on May 29, 2018. Bruce was the only child of the late Jesus and Alice A. Whitaker Santa Cruz. He was a Plant High School graduate and he served his country in the United States Army. Bruce met his soulmate, Zoraida Lopez while working at Jim Walters; he later excelled in his career as a Salesman for Martin's Uniforms. He enjoyed yard work, golfing, playing Bridge, Rummikub, Sudoku, and any game or puzzle that involved numbers. Bruce is survived by Zoraida, his beloved wife of 53 years; son, Robert Bruce Santa Cruz Jr.; daughter, Rena Longo and husband, George; his granddaughter, Isabella Sage Longo; extended family and friends. A memorial service will be held on June 21 from 2-4 pm at the Blount & Curry Funeral Home at Garden of Memories, 4207 East Lake Avenue, Tampa, Florida 33610.?.
